God is looking for people who will long for the goals and desires He has, so that He can fulfill them. As you begin to reverence God, you will discover the wealth of partnership with Him and begin to enjoy confidence in your friendship with Him. The fear of the Lord is to takesides together with God’s attitude toward the sin and corruption that Satan has brought into this world. You are not to be afraid of God; you are to discover His attitudes and desires. To the naturally minded person, fearing God creates a sense of uncertainty; he never quite knows how God is going to respond. However, to the person committed to an intimate fellowship with God, it is a life-changing response to a wonderful God.
