Fear has kept many people from living in their dreams. Fear that they would not make the right decisions, fear of the unknown, or fear of what others might think of them. While these are all real fears, they are all based on wrong information.
Fear is simply faith in the wrong things. Faith believes what God has said, fear does not believe God’s Word will work for us. Fear believes in the inadequacy of our own ability.
Our dreams are seeds of God’s plan for our lives. Meditating and imaging our dreams feeds those dreams with faith. We can also sow seeds of faith by giving offerings toward our dreams coming to pass.
Many times I have known the direction God wanted me to pursue so I began to sow seeds of faith. I would sow by speaking the Word in prayer and by giving offerings. These become tools in the hand of God to bring those dreams into my hands.
God’s dreams become reality when His power is demonstrated through us. Everything God does in us He wants to also do through us. When we are healed, He wants to use us to bring healing to others. When we prosper, He will use us as a distributor of wealth to others so they can prosper.
God wants to demonstrate His power and Lordship through us. His Body is the place of His power in the earth. We are His dwelling place.
Our confidence comes from the fact that we are in harmony with God’s desire and what we ask for is in according with His will. Fear and unbelief must go when we know God’s will. Our faith is in the power of His Word to bring into existence everything just as He has promised.
First John 5:14-15 says,
“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him” (NKJV).
God will demonstrate His abundance and victory over everything Satan has done to destroy mankind. And He wants to demonstrate it through us. We are called to demonstrate His victory over sickness and poverty. That means He wants us healthy and abundantly supplied.
God’s dream will reveal His wisdom through His people – you and me. Ephesians 3:10 says,
“…in order that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places (NAS).
God’s Word is our source of strength for each step we take toward our dreams. It delivers us, stirs our desires up, reveals the dreams, and empowers us to receive and demonstrate God’s abundance. We must abide in the Word, and hide it in our hearts, meditate on it and speak it out loud in faith. When we do these things, we will find ourselves living inside of our dreams.
